In the November IIEPassport Newsletter, we take you to some sunnier climes that will energize you for your next study abroad experience. Our featured destination of the month is the jewel of the Caribbean, Jamaica. Jamaica's rich culture has at its roots European, African, and American influences, and is an ideal destination for students interested in Caribbean studies. Jamaica boasts a variety of higher education institutes, but the largest and most well-known is the University of the West Indies.
If an urban experience is what you had in mind, then Mexico City ticks all the boxes. The country's most populous city and cultural, industrial and economic center, is a bustling hub of activity. With its numerous universities and language schools, thousands of students of all levels and fields of study make Mexico City their temporary home every year.
For other study abroad opportunities, be sure to check out Hot Study Abroad Programs and Germany.IIEPassport.org. There's also lots of advice and information to help make the most out of your study abroad experience at our Student Center and Adviser Center.
