What is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and it is an XML-based format for distributing and sharing Web content online and off, such as articles, website updates, and news. You can receive feeds from various websites through an RSS reader or even incorporate RSS feeds onto your own website.

How Can I Access RSS feeds?

RSS feeds primarily can be accessed through RSS Readers. These readers will download and display RSS feeds for you. Some of these readers are services that you can download to your desktop and others are allow you to easily access a feed through a web page. My Yahoo! or Bloglines are two such services that will allow you to easily view any feed. A desktop reader will allow you to download feeds and read them offline.
